The ASU experience provides endless opportunities for students. Research indicates that involved students are more likely to graduate at greater rates, perform better academically and be more satisfied with their educational experience, than students who are not involved. Additionally, participation in a club or activity will help to develop your student’s leadership, teamwork and communication skills, provides for greater interaction with faculty and staff and will help them acclimate to their new environment faster!
ASU encourages your student to get involved and play an active role in their community. ASU has over 500 university registered student organizations that have a variety of different interests including academic, fraternity & sorority, social, political, athletic and religious. Additionally, your student may choose to get involved in Student Government, Programming & Activities Board, Canon Leadership Program, Community Service or a Student Coalition.
To find out more about involvement opportunities at Arizona State University, please have your student visit: www.asu.edu/mu/sdic or call the Sun Devil Involvement Center at 480.965.2255. ____________________________________________________________________ Spring 2008 Parents Association Newsletter Learn how your Parents Association helps ALL students
