As the parent or guardian of an ASU student you are automatically a member of the ASU family association. We are a 'hands on' organization and we encourage you to become involved!

The ASU family association provides meaningful opportunities for parents to become engaged in university life. Read about each of our committees below and identify those that attract you. There is no experience required! And if you are not sure which committee to join, we will connect you to the group or groups that best match your interests.

The family association is proud of its tradition of service to students, their families and the university. It is also proud of the ongoing generosity of ASU parents that has established a tradition of university support that meaningfully enhances the educational experience of every ASU student.

Gifts to the ASU Parents Fund help sustain programs and resources that directly impact students and their families, provide critical academic services and promote teaching and learning excellence, a few include:

• free tutoring, peer mentoring and academic-skills workshops through the Learning Support Services and Student Success Centers
• financial support through our scholarship program and the Emergency Crisis Fund which provides grants in times of extreme financial crisis
• free on-campus transportation provided by the Safety Escort Service during evening hours
• recognition of excelling professors through our Professor of the Year award program
